How I write, is mine…How you read, is yours

~ Most of us feel it, some don't. Some of us say it, some don't. Some may agree, some won't. Be as it may, the facts still remain.

A stormy eve it was
when they had to part
She leaving him
by the deserted shore
He leaving her
by the raging waves
She making her headway
into the open arms
of a welcoming world
He heading back
to his clumsy shackles
which he called home
She promising to return
to his modest love
He vowing to receive her
with undying warmth

A stormy eve it is today
with a thousand waves lapping
against every moment that passed
between then and now
And once again he stands
by the deserted shore
still waiting
still modest
still shackled
still loving her
-Only, she is yet to keep her promise-

A syllable calm
Like oceans in your palm
Spelling tranquil
From life’s chaotic quill

It left in immense fury
in tiny beads of bold red

Spraying peace
Like a blanket of fleece
Quiet splatter
On soul’s bronzed platter

It hung low in mid-air
as if in deep grey thought

A serene blot
In an awkward spot
Resting placid
On brown papered acid

It fell on a wall of hope
purple in its efforts to cling

Soothed again
From a tortuous rain
Absorbed in lull
By mind’s robust hull

It gave in to its own will
now sitting proud in navy blue

**Posting this poem at One Shot Wednesday (week 47)… This is THE place for some amazing poetry, peeps! Take a peek, and stay stunned!! 🙂 **

Fractals of breath
So carefully measured
Glazed with time
Cherished and treasured

Released with poise
Cosmically sublime
In rolling spasms
Of a soundless chime

Distilled and pure
Like aqueous glory
Untouched and safe
From a misquoted story

Caught in space
Aloof and withdrawn
Amorphous in form
Like scattered dawn

The uncelebrated magic of a sigh…

**Posted for G-Man’s Friday Flash 55… Check it out and see what others had to say in EXACTLY 55 words!! The variety is amazing!! **
