How I write, is mine…How you read, is yours

~ Most of us feel it, some don't. Some of us say it, some don't. Some may agree, some won't. Be as it may, the facts still remain.

A syllable calm
Like oceans in your palm
Spelling tranquil
From life’s chaotic quill

It left in immense fury
in tiny beads of bold red

Spraying peace
Like a blanket of fleece
Quiet splatter
On soul’s bronzed platter

It hung low in mid-air
as if in deep grey thought

A serene blot
In an awkward spot
Resting placid
On brown papered acid

It fell on a wall of hope
purple in its efforts to cling

Soothed again
From a tortuous rain
Absorbed in lull
By mind’s robust hull

It gave in to its own will
now sitting proud in navy blue

**Posting this poem at One Shot Wednesday (week 47)… This is THE place for some amazing poetry, peeps! Take a peek, and stay stunned!! 🙂 **

Many a calamity
Until now has befallen
The land of the rising sun

Lands were erased
By piercing calm’s shroud
With an atomic mushroom cloud

Terrains absorbed
Into titanic angry tide
To be spit out and cast aside

But now I hope we can
In this shaken angsty hour
Release on it, a four-leaf clover

**Written in honor of the beautiful land of the rising sun (Japan), for Theme Thursday (prompt: Luck) and for G-Man’s awesome Friday Flash 55**

Image Credits: Me (for the photography) and Hubby (for being my model)

Holding a light, and guiding through
Paving ways, they throw a cue

That steady gaze; the knowing looks
Flipping leaves, of us helpless books

With dancing flames, they spill out fire
They burn me down; Like I were a pyre

A glance, a wink; a flash, a glare
Telling me things, no lips could dare

Sedate and grave; Unflinching calm
A force they bear; Loud as a storm

A sweep or two, of lashes dense
Making me melt, and matters tense

Wisdom, charm, and dreams that soar
Warmth and cool, they’ve these and more

Open or not, it is the same
When faced with them, peace shirks in shame

I dive into, those eyes so brown
Deeper than seas, yet I won’t drown…

LOOK WHAT HAPPENED!!

Oldie goldies
