How I write, is mine…How you read, is yours

~ Most of us feel it, some don't. Some of us say it, some don't. Some may agree, some won't. Be as it may, the facts still remain.

T’was just another eve
A shadowy mesh grew on this sieve
The sun now eased its glow
And it soon began to snow

Then on a cobblestone street
As I walked my lazy feet…

With your platinum shine
Oh so crystalline
You drifted up to me
Just so I could see
You glided on my lash
Swung, then made a dash
And pecked me on my nose
I turned an icy rose
As if to say I love you
A soft kiss to me you blew
Very soon my heart you felt
In its warmth, you had to melt

And in the blink of an eye
I watched you dissolve and drip by
But your spirit still stays alive
And in it, I hope to dive

This evening that made me heave
Was certainly not just another eve

Hiding and showing
While craftily glowing
‘Tween soft mists blowing
You’ve a smile all too knowing
~*~
Humble and coy
Making souls buoy
With an impish decoy
You bestow a mystic joy
~*~
Alluring and urging
And well-timed emerging
You have our pulses surging
In love you leave us submerging
~*~
Glossy and divine
In the sky you shine
Making us yen and pine
With a million stars in line
~*~
Rising and dancing
While slowly advancing
With your looks entrancing
You seize two hearts romancing
~*~
Lucid and bright
In an inky skylight
You are a sure delight
On a dark mirthless night

Beautiful, Dark yet Bright, Friday Flash 55, Manhattan, Night, Reflections

Photographed by me from home - after the tower lights of Empire State went off at 2AM

The blackness of night
Glorified
By the glow of a moon
Sanctified
And drizzle of illumination
Mollified
Soldered by reflections
Deified
Revered by souls
Terrified
With an innocence often
Vilified
By hypnotic gazes of shadows
Petrified
Infused with million sparkles
Purified
Eventually, depths of which
Verified
Here is a night
Gratified
Leaving us all
Satisfied!

On my window
Hand in hand
Down they flow
Beyond them
Clouds billow
Threatening
Loud and slow
Silently,
I watch the show
Bound within
Nowhere to go

An orange sun, a morning glow
Amid boxes, set in a row
Your looming shadow across the flow
Twists a lip, raises a brow

Blue skies, a cloudless sight
Vivid pictures painted bright
Your angles sharp, they scream of might
They make me weak, and my head so light

Misty airs, hanging high
Casting patterns on windows dry
But scenes beyond, they speak no lie
You reach out to me and make me sigh

When rains hit hard and moods are grey
When dull and tired define the day
You wisely look to me and say
‘Wear grins and smiles, toss gloom away’

Zillion vibrant lights surround
Some afloat, some on ground
You make them proud, you are the crowned
And by your spell, I find me bound

You tease, you charm, you mock, you lure
Of your intent, I’m not too sure
You make me bold and yet demure
Each look at you stirs up senses pure

You truly live up to your name
With methods deft, you ace your game
Standing tall, with your grace and fame
Oh grand Empire, you put the rest to shame

LOOK WHAT HAPPENED!!

Oldie goldies
