***And here, I just wanted to let you all know that I am having an awesome time in India… Yes, I am still jet lagged, and even after a week into my trip, I am living on New York time :)… but it’s alright, cuz my parents are really impressed that I wake up so early… LOLZ ! Anyway, I have a looooong day ahead of me today, I am really hoping that I don’t fall asleep in the car while my hubby’s driving… I hate dozing off in the car! Can’t afford to miss the lush greenery around me this time… the coconut groves are BREATHTAKINGLY beautiful! Yes yes, I WILL put up some pictures soon!! I promise! π Take care, you awesome peeps! Love you all.. And am missing you like crazy… booohooohoo***

Beautiful poem about memories! They are often locked away, in a sense and they do have a way of warming the heart.

You bet, Janna! Family time is awesome! A tad annoying at times…but awesome nonetheless! heheheh
And I sure had a great time while in India! π
Kavita, I actually did some reading last night before bed without commenting and I read this several times…I like how you “transitioned” the poem toward the ending….yeah, I like that.

Good afternoon Kavi,
You always amaze me with your work. Thats sure. Sorry for not visiting on a daily basis. Little busy with work and my write. Even if when I get time, want to look into three languages I write.

Secrets bursting. Treasures bared. Short, but potent burst of image…the memories, we lock them away, so they might rise again with joy later, and the flood of image might carry us away to sweeter times…
Glad to hear you’re having fun in India! Enjoy all the beautiful sights it has to offer.
Aww… thanks a ton for the appreciative comments, Chris… you have been a constant source of inspiration and encouragement to me, my friend.. and for that, I consider myself truly blessed!

Shocked – but delighted – that you have posted a fine poem AND an update. I’m glad to know that you are having a fabulous time and that your folks approve of your early rising and industry. Actually, that’s quite wonderful and cute.
Keep safe. Enjoy! ….

Happy Homecoming in India, Kavita! I hope you are having the time of your life. Love this minimalized poem; especially “of a frozen now”… wouldn’t it be great if we could freeze time for as long as we wanted, before moving on?
hehehhe…you can say that again, heartspell… in fact, I have even written a post on that very topic (freezing time for as long as we want)… and am glad to see that you share that sentiment with me!! Thanks a ton, my dear talented friend…
xoxoxoxo

Something very sad and depressing in these words. So much negativity π¦ hope all is well!
I guess I hate the fact that memories cannot be “relived” per-se… we can just think them.. you know what I mean?
But never mind all that… all is perfectly well with me, dear Mark.. worry not! π
How have you been, my friend?
Brillant wordplay with the ‘uns’
