The blackness of night
Glorified
By the glow of a moon
Sanctified
And drizzle of illumination
Mollified
Soldered by reflections
Deified
Revered by souls
Terrified
With an innocence often
Vilified
By hypnotic gazes of shadows
Petrified
Infused with million sparkles
Purified
Eventually, depths of which
Verified
Here is a night
Gratified
Leaving us all
Satisfied!

Amazing poem! I love the way you’ve written it, a line followed by a word. Too good!
Love the photograph too.
I took something similar the other day: http://idiosyncraticmind.wordpress.com/2010/09/03/hussain-sagar/
(apologies for advertising :P)
Kavita said:
Ohhhh… loved your pictures!! And please “advertise” more… they are lovely!!! 🙂 I took this one with the window glass in between! We cannot open it any more than 6 inches (that’s probably cuz we are on 23rd floor).. so inspite of all kindsa trouble I took, it looks a bit blurred.. 😦 Anyway, me glad you liked it! I am yet a novice at photography.. have a few day pix (kinda better than this.. Will post on a page on wordpress (same blog) soon!
Glad you enjoyed the poem too, DP.. I kinda liked this style myself 🙂 (talk about modesty! phheewww..)
Now me off on an unplanned road trip (dragged by hubby and friend.. and its 5AM here… sighh) 🙂 See you on Monday!!! mwaaahhh
Have an awesome weekend!! Many many hugs!!!
deadpoet88 said:
Wow, you are very good at photography. You must put up more. Taking photos with glass inbetween is troublesome, but sometimes they come out well, like the one you took.
Night photography is tricky as it is, with the long exposure and need for slow shutter speeds. I always get many blurred photos when taken in the night.
No need to be modest, you are in fact very good 😀
Enjoy your road trip! Catch you when you’re back! 😀
Kavita said:
heheheh.. this is weird… I have already replied to your latter comments… and now I decided to go chronologically! 🙂
Anyway, coming back to what you’ve said here… you are sooo right! Those glassy pix are tough!! Glad you liked this one… I had to crop it a bit, so that it fit into the poem, ABOVE it! Hence the landscape cropping… phewww .. and that kinda screwed up the pic in some ways.. but then, when viewed in this manner, it looks okayish… (thankfully!)
And Now.. you already KNOW I had a great trip 🙂 heheheh
Love yaaa!!
cindy said:
