On that day, I thought
I really want to rest
But the race was still on
I had to do my best

Yesterday, I thought
It’s time to claim rewards
But I took to the flu
And repose was on the cards

Today, I thought
Beautiful day for bait
But a phonecall broke the spell
The award couldn’t wait

Tomorrow, I will think
My TV needs my eye
But the river won’t stand still
And the trout’ll swim right by

So now, I sit and think
Is the time ever right?
Cuz I can make my plans
But Fate puts me in blight!
